What are performance marketing agencies?

There was a time when agencies would throw out an advert for a product and just hope that it succeeded. It was hard to judge the success of one over another, so many went for a scattergun approach. In today’s digital world, that’s all changed. We are able to see exactly how many people see your Facebook advert or visit your latest blog or have connected through Instagram, and how many of those have bought a room, booked a table or bought a service. Performance marketing agencies like POSH are able to see exactly what works, and focus on your successes to bring more clients. Based in Scotland and serving all the UK, POSH Agency has your data at our fingertips.

What is performance marketing?

Performance marketing is a type of online marketing and advertising where advertisers only pay when a certain type of action happens. This could be a click, a sale or a download. It’s all data-led, meaning it requires a focused strategy from the outset. Ultimately, we are able to measure your performance and aim to get you in front of a new audience. If you want to make a sale, we’ll help you get there.

This way, we can save you time by only promoting ads which work, which also saves you money too!

How we work with you in digital insights

Our experienced team come with years of knowledge of the digital world, working with companies in the hospitality sector and beyond. We’ll meet you and talk to you in depth to understand you, your business and its needs. We’ll figure out how to best spend your budget for maximum return on investment, and then start building tangible results.

As we go, we’ll refine what works and jettison anything that isn’t up to scratch. Our data analysis keeps us ahead of the game, and ready to tackle all the challenges that come with online sales today. We’ll make sure your campaigns are winning ones.

Being an SEO copywriter is a job where no two days are the same. One minute you’re writing about artisan coffee, the next, it’s pressure washers. It’s just how things work in this often misunderstood role within digital marketing.

It’s probably why I always get asked what my average day looks like. So, let’s break it down to give you a better idea of what SEO copywriting really is and the reality behind the pages you read online.

The Start of My Day as An SEO Copywriter

I start by checking my to-do list to understand what needs doing and when. After replying to some emails and feeling pretty darn productive, I move on to one of the most important tasks of my working day, making a coffee.

Task One: Keyword Research

Keyword research is the backbone of search engine optimisation, so, coffee in hand, I start researching keywords for a batch of new blogs and service pages. I pray that I find terms with high volume and low difficulty that match the hilarious blog ideas I’ve come up with.

No luck, and I settle for a different angle on practically every piece. I’ll make them work.

Task Two: Actual SEO Copywriting

I add placeholders to the pages and blogs before I start, writing things like “CTA here, obviously” and “secondary keyword here, dur”. I make sure the H1 and first paragraph have that hallowed primary keyword included, and that my other headings are in place and ready to rock.

Then, I get to writing.

Obviously, I get carried away because I’m now suddenly very invested in what I’m writing, which is the different kinds of pressure washing services available in the UK.

I switch my focus to a milk frother blog, and find myself adding one to my cart. I don’t need a milk frother, but I suppose that’s the strength of compelling SEO copywriting, and the reason an SEO copywriter is a job in the first place?

I get another coffee.

Task Three: SEO Copywriter-Themed Existential Dread

Next, I start to disengage from reality because the best products might not be the best products, but simply have the best SEO. Are we all being fooled? Am I part of the problem?

This puts me into a bit of a spin, so I go out for lunch.

Lunch as An SEO Copywriter

I get into conversation with the waiter about what I do for a living. After failing to explain what an SEO copywriter is, I go with something along the lines of “I write websites so people can see them on Google” to a blank look.

Foolishly, I ask what he does for work, and he looks around, says “this”, and walks away. He doesn’t make small talk when he returns with my food.

Afternoon Task One: Competitor Research

I think about the lunch encounter a thousand times. Then, I start some competitor research for one of the blog articles I’m writing.

I find a ranking article and immediately judge their H1 tags, feeling smug. I then realise that I’ve written a similar article, which theirs is ranking higher for.

Audit time, but first, another coffee.

Afternoon Task Two: Write an SEO Optimised Service Page

Audit complete, I go back to my trusty to-do list and tackle a service page. I get into the groove with a clean structure, on-point metadata, and well-distributed keywords, and it even sounds like a person wrote it.

Because a person did write it. It was me.

I get way too into the writing and abandon my structure. I remember that people want a step-by-step guide built around search intent, not for me to run off on a tangent about the etymology of a verb I find interesting.

I re-focus and get a 90% ready draft completed. Job’s a good ‘en.

Afternoon Task Three: Optimise an Old Blog Post

Using the data from the audit, I refresh the old blog post so it can rank well with the Google overlords. This means doing all that good stuff: strategic edits using new terms, metadata rewrites, and deleting that one sentence that made me die inside on re-reading.

I then add internal links and polish off the blog with some good, royalty-free imagery and fantastic alt text. I’m as specific as possible, rather than writing something like “man smiling”.

Afternoon Task Four: Polish Off the Projects and Get Ready to Send

Time to get everything ready to send, which means loads of unnecessary final touches.

These include:

Rewriting a headline 12 times and realising SEO copywriting is mostly arguing with yourself.

Making another coffee, and noticing I didn’t drink my last one. Accidental cold brew, anyone?

Spending 20 minutes coming up with a fun CTA for a blog, just to remember the client wanted me to write “the usual contact details” instead.

Writing an email “briefly” explaining what I did for each page, which takes an hour.

Afternoon Task Five: Procrastinate

I need a fresh headspace before I click send, so I scroll through Google SERPs as if it’s Instagram. Nice featured snippet! I think to myself. I cringe.

The Final Task of The Day: Fire Off The Docs

Save the document. Attach to an email. Re-read and find two spelling errors. Edit and re-attach. Go back and remove the daft CTA I thought was cool at the time. Send to the client.

Rinse and repeat for every project I’ve done today.

The End of My Day as An SEO Copywriter

Close the laptop and hunt for the cat. The cat will make everything okay.

As we write this in the middle of 2025, the rise of ChatGPT and other AI tools seems only to be accelerating. As with any new technology, there are concerns about what this means for the future of websites and their content. There’s plenty to say, but for now let’s focus on one particular and important aspect of digital marketing – search engine optimisation (SEO). We’ve spoken at length about the importance of SEO on websites, and it’s something we focus on with all our clients. Making your website readable and easily understood is key to attracting, keeping and converting visitors. It’s how you get found on Google, which is a key metric for all businesses with an online presence. But what are the pros and cons of using ChatGPT for SEO?

Pros of ChatGPT

AI has become more sophisticated in its writing. It is able to knock up a 500 or 1,000 word blog in a matter of seconds. And, it’s free. You can sit at your desk and within five minutes have a fully written blog using any keywords you would like and upload it with a couple of images and boom, job done. And yes, AI can even generate the images for you, saving you even more time and money.

Multiply that over the course of a day and you could be churning out thousands of words, very easily, without the need to do any research, editing or understanding of the topic yourself. For only a few pounds, you could probably find someone on Fiverr to do it for you whilst you enjoy a round of golf or some time in front of the TV. This will result in a consistent publishing schedule that will ensure your website is constantly refreshed with new content – a key aspect of being Google-friendly.

ChatGPT can also create a variety of content types on a whim. From a funny blog post to a serious article, or from a LinkedIn post to Memorandum of Understanding, AI is versatile. Of course, it’s not just the finished product it produces. It can deliver outline strategies, article structures and even talk ideas out with you. Sometimes it feels like there’s nothing it can’t do!

Cons of ChatGPT

So we’ve established that AI can generate significant amounts of various content in very little time. However, it means if you’re doing that, then so are millions of people all over the world. Everyone is using the same regurgitated content on their sites and ultimately not producing anything new. How can you stand out? And what will make Google put you at the top of its organic search results over a competitor doing exactly the same?

Furthermore, it might even be making stuff up! “Hallucination” is a real problem where AI gets a bit confused and starts to make things up. If that’s then posted online, then other AI could pick it up, eventually spreading a load of nonsense. This will not reflect well on you or your business, and you will quickly lose the trust of your customers and Google.

Without human oversight, ChatGPT productions can result in poorly written, poorly researched and sub-standard work. Online users are quickly becoming able to pick up on what was ‘written by a robot’, and may feel that ultimately if you can’t be bothered putting the time into your web content, why should they put in the time reading it? The same applies to Google – it much prefers text written by a human (and yes, it’s very good at detecting when it isn’t).

For best results, use Human Intelligence!

Using ChatGPT for SEO has its place in digital marketing. However, it can’t do it on its own and needs a human to make it useful. Whether that’s re-writing or proofreading, a person needs to see and be able to make any changes in advance of publication. Best of all, however, is a researched article or blog with accurate information and, if possible, some unique local insight to a place or activity that adds depth and simply doesn’t exist elsewhere online. Only people can do this – and POSH does it the best! That’s some of us up there, ready to get to work for you.

…and what 2024 has in store

As 2023 draws to a close, we’ve seen many changes and developments in the Scottish hospitality industry over the year. Hospitality trends we have noticed include a rise in the need for digital marketing strategies to get businesses seen online, a rise in the number of people working whilst abroad and a definite increase in the number of people looking for eco holidays.

Here’s a rundown of what we’ve seen – and where we think 2024 will take us.

Travelling is happening again

After lockdowns and restrictions, we’re delighted that 2023 saw people travel in huge numbers around the world and here to Scotland. We saw a large rise in travellers from the USA as well as from across Europe. European travel had been weak since Brexit, but people are starting to come back to the UK from all across the continent again.

One of the most interesting changes since COVID has been the rise in working travellers on ‘workations’. This is where people with remote jobs have realised that they don’t have to work from their kitchen or bedroom – they could do it from a beach or in a bar like at Kingsmills Hotel! Hotels and guest accommodation have similarly realised that to cater to this emerging market, they need to ensure their Wi-Fi is as fast as possible and accessible throughout their grounds. Additionally, guests like to find places to work where they can engage in online meetings without disturbing others. So locations that offer rooms to hire by the hour with screens and power sources are proving popular with this type of traveller.

With remote working here to stay, ensuring your accommodation and services are appealing to these digital nomads is a good investment for the future.

The eco-travel market is on the rise

Furthermore, eco-travelling has come up the ranks in 2023. We’ve noticed that when faced with two similar holiday options, travellers will often choose the more expensive if it is eco friendly. This means it might be a location which is environmentally conscious, or offers carbon offsets. By pushing the environmental aspects of a venue – perhaps by not wasting unused food as seen at events at Venachar Lochside – businesses can increase their appeal to eco travellers. We can see this trend increasing over 2024 and beyond.

Make sure you have a digital marketing strategy

Long gone are the days when you could simply set up a website and expect customers to come pouring in. If you want to be seen online today, you need a digital strategy including SEO and marketing and 2023 has continued to prove that point.

We continue to see a lot of traffic come from social media websites, so a strong presence on platforms like Facebook continue to be vital. A great example is Eagle Brae. Their social presence is more about the experience and getting potential customers to imagine how wonderful it would be to stay there. Whilst they still promote last minute breaks, it isn’t a hard sell because they have a high quality offer they know people will want.

Having websites which are fully SEO optimised is also crucial. SEO or search engine optimisation is a way to construct a site so that search engines such as Google can easily find them and understand what your site is about. This means it can reliably deliver your site in search results to customers looking for your service. It’s no longer about ‘keyword stuffing’, but rather making sure your site is authoritative, up to date and relevant. By understanding the types of searches people do in your niche (for example caravan holidays, hot tub breaks, luxury event space etc), it’s possible to create pages to meet that need and so make yourself visible to a new audience. Stuckgowan Estates is a great example of a five-star accommodation experience which runs a beautifully SEO optimised website.

Highlight free things to do

Even although people are going on holiday again, and are often willing to pay a little extra to make sure their hotel or self-catering meets their needs, people are still conscious of their overall budget. The cost of living will still be tight throughout 2024.

What we’ve found is that free things to do near an area can be a deciding factor when it comes to deciding on where to stay. We urge our clients to consider this when working on their websites. It could be anything from wild swimming in a loch to where to buy food for a picnic. Loch Lomond Waterfront have particularly embraced this strategy by highlighting the many free things to do around the area, and they are reaping the rewards. Offering itineraries for free days out is a slam dunk when it comes to high performing blogs.

Open bookings in advance

People are planning their holidays much further in advance now than ever before, which means accommodations need to open up their bookings well into the future.

It may be because people want to spread the cost for their holidays over a longer period, but we are finding that holiday bookings are coming in for up to a year or even two in advance. This means, as of 2023, we advise clients to open their bookings up to the end of 2025. Rates for Christmas and new year breaks need to be live at least six months before the season, and the same goes for Valentines Day offers, spring beaks and half term holidays.

January is by far the biggest month of the year for bookings. By the end of December, websites need to have their last minute deals ready for 2024, as well as looking ahead to 2025 stays.

Looking forward to another amazing year

2023 has been a fantastic year for our clients, and we hope to make 2024 even better! If you are looking for a marketing agency which specialises in hospitality digital marketing, then we would love to chat about helping you get to the next level.

One of the best things about working in the hospitality sector is seeing all the new hotel innovations and opportunities that arise each year. 2023 has been no different. We’ve come across loads of exciting ways to develop ourselves and the businesses we work with.

Here are 6 our favourites that we’d love to share with you.

1) KISS at meetings

Woah hold on, no we’re not recommending giving your CEO a smooch. We’re saying Keep It Simple Stupid when it comes to booking meetings. If you have a small meeting space, consider ways that secretaries or interns can book them easily online. With minimal fuss, the booking system can run almost automatically.

As an added bonus, if you are able to allow meeting participants to change the room temperature, lighting and TV input of the room using an app, they’ll thank you even more for it (and so will your IT team!).

Putting an online booking system on your website can save time for your staff who maybe should focus on bigger events or activities. Customers can simply book, pay, turn up and leave. Simple, right? If you’d like to chat about having a booking option on your website, just give us a call.

2) Go 3D

Remember when 3D was all about wearing glasses with red and green lenses? We undoubtedly looked super cool, but times have changed and technology has advanced. It’s now easy to scan a room, event space or restaurant to develop a 3D environment. This can give potential customers an idea of what you can offer them. If you can get potential guests to feel like they are in your hotel room, you are one step closer to them booking in for real.

Similarly, customers who are anxious about stepping out somewhere new and unfamiliar can feel more relaxed about doing so if they have virtually visited your restaurant online. This way they know where the toilets are or how to get to the car park.

If you would like to know more about getting 3D visualisations on your website, give us a shout!

3) Quit playing games with my heart…

…and start playing games on your website. That’s what the original Backstreet Boys lyrics were supposed to be. And they’d be right, because gamifying is a huge business, and you could be missing out by ignoring it.

Parents of toddlers will know gamifying already, which is the turning of a task into a game (“who can tidy up this mess the quickest? Go!”) In the business world, games can be used to engage an audience through quizzes, log-in streaks and competitions. A web user who continually comes back to your website could be one that is more likely to make a purchase as they build trust with you.

If you’d like to know more about gamification, just drop us a line.

4) Find a course to develop yourself

There are so many courses out there to help you sell more, earn more and do more. It can be overwhelming! One course we recently discovered was by Kelly Mortimer. Her social sales bundle was exceptionally useful in bringing in new wedding business, but it can be incorporated into any event sales. Have a look at Kelly’ website here.

5) Interactive guidebooks

When guests arrive at a hotel, guest house or B&B, there’s nearly always a big leather folder chock full of local information, leaflets and emergency numbers. But what if they already had all that information before they arrived? And what if it could be updated easily with one press of a button?

Digital guidebooks are a great way of letting people know about where they will be staying and all the things they can do nearby as soon as they confirm a booking. Sent via email or an app, digital guidebooks are always up to date and means guests can plan their visits before they even get to your door.

If you’d like help developing a digital and interactive guidebook, just get in touch.

6) Netflix and…relax

When travelling from hotel to hotel, it can get tiresome to have to watch your favourite shows on your iPad or laptop. That’s why Marriott Hotels have started to allow guests to log into their own Netflix accounts to watch on the in-room TV. This makes their rooms feel more homely, and they can use their computers for other tasks like catching up on social media.

This is one example of finding out what your customers want and then delivering on it. We can’t install Netflix into your hotel room. But we can help with ensuring your websites give your customers what they want. Give us a shout to find out more.

These are just some of the recent trends, opportunities and hotel innovations we’ve spotted. Stay tuned for more in the future! In the meantime, if you’d like to chat with us about developing your online strategy or upgrading your website, you guessed it – give us a shout!

How to grow your business online

Are you finding it hard to reach potential clients? Do you find that other newer businesses are poaching your work? Are you unsure how to stem the tide and improve your social media presence? Well don’t worry – we can help. People are increasingly relying on the first or second result from Google to find companies to work with. If you aren’t landing at the top of search results, you’re in trouble. Whether you are offering a place to stay on holiday or building and gardening services, having a solid online presence is no longer optional. It’s vital. The days of relying on handing out business cards to find new work are increasingly becoming a thing of the past. So if you are shouting “Help! My business is failing!” then here are some POSH ideas on how to turn it around.

Customers need to see your website

Chances are if you are reading this, you’ve never really concerned yourself with online marketing. You’ve never had to – word of mouth and newspaper ads were probably all you needed. But these days, with the credit crunch and cost of living crisis, people are more savvy with their money. They only want to spend it on people that can trust, and one way to build trust is to have a comprehensive website.

A good website means having a series of pages which show you know what you are talking about. You are experts in your field, so let’s make sure potential customers know this. That’s because doing so will make them more likely to hire you. There are plenty of ways you can set up your own website for free, but as with everything in life, you get what you pay for. A free website will not give you a personalised URL (that’s the www bit) nor will anyone tell you if it is working to pull in customers.

A POSH website will ensure your website is professional and functional. All pages will be geared towards climbing high in Google searches whilst also being beautiful to look at and interesting to read. We’ll take the time to talk with you and understand what you’d like to promote and tell people. Our team will then write, add images and publish your website. Once you have an online presence, the hard work can begin.

Develop a professional social media presence

A good social media presence on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and increasingly TikTok is vital for every thriving business today. That’s because:

A good online presence builds trust in potential customers. They can see previous work, get to know your business and understand a bit more about who they are giving their money to.

You can use social media to drive people to your website, increasing the chances they might buy from you.

Social media is a great way to increase your reach and recognition. In addition to interesting and relevant content, you can run competitions to engage your audience.

Companies who understand the language of social media can turn that into paying customers. If you would like help in doing so, just drop us a line to start a chat.

Online advertising done correctly

You may have seen adverts on Facebook or Instagram. You may have scrolled past them without paying any attention. This is a sign that those adverts weren’t targeted and were a waste of money. If you advertise through us, we’ll make your money work hard for you.

POSH Agency specialises in paid advertising on search engines and social media platforms like Facebook Ads. This is a great way to get your message out about the services you offer. Want to promote a sale? Interested in telling people about your new website? Want to push your products at a specific seasonal time of year? This is where we come in to make sure all of this is taken care of.

Advertising on social media is where a lot of younger companies spend their marketing budget. This is because 4.8 billion people around the world use social media. Chances are your next customer is one of them. Let us get you some leads to really turn your business around.

Build your digital marketing strategy with us

We know that people who run companies want to do just that – get on with their job. We agree, and think people work best when they focus on their specialities. That’s why we will work to bring together your own, personalised digital strategy to spot ways your business can grow online. We can see where people are engaging with you online, and how to capitalise on that. After we’ve analysed your online footprint, we’ll advise you on next steps and be with you all the way.

So if you are struggling with your business and looking for ways to get more customers online, then drop us a line today. We’ll happily have a no obligations chat with you, and see how we can help. You don’t have to be scared about entering the online marketing world, especially if you’ve got a POSH friend with you. Change “My business is failing. Help!” to “My business is growing. Thank you! ”.

Have you lost access to your business Facebook page? This can happen for many reasons. Often, it is because whoever was running it has left the company without handing back admin control. It may even be that the admin has passed away, and now you are left locked out of your own business page. There is also the possibility that a hacker has gained admin control and locked you out. However it has happened, here is how to reclaim admin rights to a Facebook page. It can be quite a lengthy process, but hopefully worth it in the end. Please note, we only work on these issues for our direct clients. But you can try to solve your issues yourself with this helpful guide…

Reclaiming ownership of your Facebook Business page

First, make sure that you haven’t been hacked, and this is why you have lost access to your page. If you think this may have happened, then you can report hacking attempts here.

If you have exhausted all other options, including contacting the person with current admin access if possible, then it’s time to get Facebook involved. You can contact them through their business help page. Alternatively, if you can still log into your personal Facebook page, try their support page here.

There are going to be a few things you need to get ready. This is so you can prove you should have access to your page.

What you need to reclaim ownership

1) A copy of a valid government-issued photo ID. This could be a driver’s license or passport of the individual signing the statement. You can find the different types of identification Facebook accepts in the help centre.

2) A signed statement from a person with sufficient knowledge and authority on this matter. The statement should include all of the following:

a) A description of your relationship to the Page (including your authority to request a change from the person(s) managing the Page, as applicable);

b) The Page’s URL

c) The name of the current person(s) managing the page, as applicable, and the relationship of this person(s) to the Page;

d) An explanation of your request. For example, has there has been a termination of the working and/or business relationship with the named person(s), as applicable;

e) All documentation supporting your request. This could be a business license or certificate of incorporation under the business page name to prove the applicant’s authority over the business.

f) The Facebook account or email address associated with the Facebook account that you wish to have added as the new page administrator;

g) A statement that the information you have provided is true and accurate. For example, “I declare under penalty of perjury that the information provided is true and accurate”. Your statement should include similar words.

What happens next?

Even after jumping through all these hoops, it does not guarantee that your request will be accepted. All the documents you supply will be reviewed by the relevant Facebook team. They will decide whether or not it will be accepted.

Securing your account

So that is how to reclaim admin rights to a Facebook page. Once it is back up and running, it’s worthwhile taking the time to make sure it is secure. This includes ensuring you understand all the different types of roles available on Facebook pages and initiating two-factor authentication.

Hotel SEO management is one of the most important aspects of maintaining a strong presence online. SEO stands for search engine optimisation. It is a way to ensure that your site appears high on Google searches. This is important, as the higher you appear, the more people will visit your site.

So how do you make sure Google knows who you are and what you do?

The basics of search engine optimisation

Here’s something not many people know. When you are searching on Google, you’re not actually doing a live search of the web. Instead, you are looking through Google’s archive of the internet. This is why changes made to websites do not tend to show up straight away on search result pages.

So what is Google doing when it trawls the web and comes across your beautifully designed hotel website created by POSH Agency? Well, one of the first things it does is try to work out what the website is about. It does this by checking your keywords. These are words and phrases that help describe what a particular page is writing about. So for example, if you are a cruise company offering holidays around Scotland, then chances are you are using words and phrases like “Scottish cruises” and “cruise holidays in Scotland” quite a lot. Google will pick up on that and understand what you are about. Making sure Google knows what you are offering is key to ensuring your site is served up to the correct audience.

It will also take cues from the alt text on your page images. Alt text was originally used for those using the internet with screen readers to understand what the images were portraying. They now also offer the chance to tell Google what they are too, and further clarifying what the page is about.

And this is the basics of website SEO – to make sure you are using keywords that are relevant to your page, and are phrases that people are searching for.

How do we optimise your website?

Long gone are the days when websites could just cram a load of keywords at the bottom of a page and expect to be found on search engines. Now, context is key and care needs to be taken to use keywords that are being used to search by customers on Google. A good way of doing this is to write blogs (like this one!) that keeps your website up to date and relevant.

Good hotel SEO practice also means assessing what keywords will work, and which ones are too popular. So for example, let’s say you are a new independent hotel setting up in Glasgow. Using the keywords “Glasgow hotels” would seem like a good idea, and indeed should be on your website. But there are around 15,000 searches using these keywords each month. Chances are the larger and more established hotel chains in Glasgow will be using the keywords (they may even be paying to use them) and so Google will send most customers there instead of to you.

That’s where POSH Agency can really help your business grow and your hotel prosper. We can identify lesser-used but more specific keywords and phrases to lead people to your door. We’ll look at your hotel’s USP and work out what the selling points are. Then we’ll discover searched-for keywords that people are using that relate to that.

Our SEO makes sure you are seen by the right people.

A website should reflect the character of the business behind it. This is especially true for hotel sites. Every hotel, from budget-friendly accommodation to five-star grand castles, needs its own unique online identity. Standing out to your potential customers is key, and so you will be looking for a hotel website developer that understands and has experience in this.

That’s where we come in. Here at POSH Agency in Scotland, we have years of experience working with hotels to make sure their site works for them and their guests.

Best hotel website designs

We believe a successful hotel website has to look good. It also needs to be easy for users to use and book their stay. We have plenty of hotel website ideas but the most important thing is to speak to you about what you want your site to say about your accommodation offering. Are you appealing to young backpackers? Older retired guests? Or families on holiday with their dogs?

At POSH Agency, we always take the time to get to know our clients and gain a thorough understanding of what they want their website to like, and what they want it to do. Of course, we have plenty of ideas, insights and suggestions gleaned from years of creating the best hotel websites to add to these discussions. Whether you have a firm vision of the end product or are just tentatively looking at creating or updating your current pages, we’d love to get involved.

Create perfect copy

No website is complete without copy, and we can fill your site with perfect written text that will get you seen by Google and in front of your target customers. We’ll agree on a tone of voice to use. This means that if you would like a stately, authoritative website, you’ll get it. Similarly, if you are looking for a website that is cheeky and funny, our copywriters can do that too and anything in between.

We’ll create everything from your home page to offer pages. In order to further encourage people to find and stay on your site, we can create regular blogs. These can talk about the local area and offer your site visitors reasons to stay at your hotel whilst exploring the region, including wildlife, shopping and outdoor activities.

Furthermore, if you would like us to take on social media management of your pages, we can ensure that new pages are promoted at the best times to get them in front of as wide an audience as possible.

How can we help to bring your hotel website to life?

Sometimes the best way to explain how we can help you is to show how we have helped others.

We recently undertook a website revamp with long-term clients Parliament House Hotel in Edinburgh. Sat at the foot of Princes Street, this affordable hotel has many unique offerings to highlight including breakfast served in an historic bothy, and a useable Victorian-era elevator. We updated their site with beautiful images and information on all aspects of the hotel that a guest could need. We also incorporated an Edinburgh Guide so that guests can discover all about Edinburgh and the Lothians without needing to leave the website. Regular blogging is also great for SEO purposes.

We are also the agency behind one of Inverness’ newest five-star hotels, Ness Walk. The website for this luxurious hotel has many useful features, including a ‘Book Now’ button that never leaves your sight and an online personal assistant feature to give people live and interactive help whilst browsing.

So how can we help you? Just click on the contact us button below and let’s find out together by choosing POSH Agency as your hotel website developer.
