Crieff Hydro is a beautiful family resort that offers spectacular hotel accommodation and self-catering retreats in picturesque Perthshire, Scotland. Since opening its doors as The Strathearn Hydropathic Establishment Company in 1868, Crieff Hydro has been a fun, relaxing and entertaining retreat for families for over a century.
The Problem
Located outside the busy city centre, Crieff Hydro needed to be positioned as a delightful, desirable holiday destination … fast. In order to improve their brand image in the midst of a recession, they needed an efficient, cost-effective digital marketing solution. Overall Crieff Hydro saw an astounding return on investment of 22:1. PPC advertising alone resulted in an 195% increase in revenue, with a return on investment of 37:1. Traffic to the site grew significantly, with transactions on site up by 110% year-on-year.
